I’m waiting for the day my car is faster than my dads. Currently his YJ is sitting engine-less and my CJ is sitting transfercase-less, so I guess they’re evenly matched.

I’ve been there for a while. It’s...unsatisfying. Because my dad is a car guy, to an extent, but whenever I talk about whatever car I’ve got lately he grumbles about why I haven’t chosen something more practical, then threatens to do something like buy a plug-in hybrid Audi A3 for himself.

My dad got the same exact model and color of my sister’s car. A white 2009 Honda Civic.
When we did a road trip he was scared of my E92, he didn’t drive much.

He’s always been somewhat of a car person and now since he doesn’t pay for his children I convinced him to get something fun. He loves the car, especially the M exhaust that came with it.

Yup, looks just like yours. Same color, cept I have the carbon fiber roof and carbon fiber attachments on the front. 2011

Mine is also a 2011, October 2010 build date, sadly they didn’t offer the carbon fiber roof on the sedan.

I got the full sports package, but didn’t get the Computer/i-Drive.
19in tires sometimes can be hard to find!
I have fit 4 full grown humans in my car...once. Otherwise my backseats never get used.

I wanted idrive and I’m glad I got it. It was hard enough for me to find a 6MT E90 with leather and idrive, let alone one with the competition package. I do love me some style 359s though. Everyone had a DCT and I was adamant about the manual.

I designed the car in Florida. I didn’t get the seat heaters as in Florida the seats heat themselves...but then after 4 years, I moved to Maryland. There is a conversation I’d like to redo.
There were 0 manuals at the entire dealership. I drove an automatic to test it and was so much happier with the manual. I drove a C63 the day before. That car was fierce, but didn’t come with a good enough warranty for me.
It is a beastly little machine and I love it. I do need to clean the leather again soon.

Yea man, a 135 is a hoot! With a tune, and a little more fiscal lube it’ll spank your M3. Do you know what the weight difference is?
My dad says cars are tools. :/
